During the webinar held on November 16, 2021 we presented the new study on Retail Security in Italy 2021, conducted by Crime&tech with Checkpoint Systems’ support and in collaboration with Laboratorio per la Sicurezza. It aims at providing a complete and updated picture of the shrinkages and their impact on retail firms.
Going beyond the mere estimation of the total shrinkage cost, this reports provides also additional suggestions on possible innovative solutions (from a technological, analytical and organizative point of view) to implement a more effective shrinkage reduction.
This study follows the publication of two additional analysis at national (Retail Security in Italy, 2017) and european level (Retail Security in Europe – Going beyond shrinkage, 2019), and represents the conclusion of a wider project which started at the end of 2020, structured around the presentation and publication of 2 additional reports.
