TPRM and Italian companies:

best practices and future challenges in third-party risk management

Increasingly interconnected economies, turbulent geopolitical dynamics and ever-increasing levels of scrutiny: in this context, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes play a key role in organisations’ strategy to prevent risks and mitigate their impact – legal, reputational and in terms of business continuity.

Despite its relevance, this topic is still fragmented between different regulatory frameworks and its practical implications and applications are poorly known. In response to this knowledge gap, Crime&tech – a spin-off of Transcrime-Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – and Lab4Compliance decided to launch a study to better understand current practices, policies and future developments, and to provide recommendations and operational guidelines for national operators. The webinar on 7 February will be an opportunity to launch the research and to involve companies and operators in the study.
